Compassionate Certification Centers

By: Dr Bryan Doner

Pioneers and experts in the Pennsylvania medical marijuana program, Compassionate Certification Centers (CCC) is now increasing focus on Eastern Pennsylvania! Credited for being among the first certification providers in the state, CCC has issued more than 100,000 western Pennsylvania certifications since opening in 2017. We are a physician-owned company focusing on medical cannabis and wellness. We specialise in offering medical cannabis certifications in person and through telemedicine.

Streamlined and efficient, CCC offers best in class pricing for all-inclusive services while upholding the commitment to providing unmatched patient care, and industry knowledge. New patients can expect a complete overview of the program, that includes a detailed explanation of the Department of Health (DOH) requirements, dispensary information, and what will be required to stay an active participant in the program. New patients are seen for $150 while returning/established program patients are typically re-certified for $125, state fees are separate, if applicable. In addition to matching any advertised price in the state, patients can rest assured knowing their certification complies with all state guidelines and requirements, leaving them to worry-free.

If we are not able to provide a certification, the visit is fully reimbursed. All patients are welcome to apply for the program regardless of their age, certifications are issued on a medically needed basis; minor patients will be required to have a caretaker. Discounts are available for veterans, industry employees, and first responders.

Before the 2020 pandemic, all participants of the program were required to come into an office to meet with a physician in person before certification could be issued. Since being approved, telemedicine, or virtual medicine now gives us the ability to treat patients statewide regardless of their ability to come to the office. Patients can now do their appointment from anywhere they can access the internet, making it much more convenient from a scheduling standpoint.

Most appointments can be done in as little as 10 minutes resulting in one-year certifications. During each visit, you are allowed to ask our physicians any questions you have about marijuana, how it may benefit you, different routes of administration, and dosing information. Appointments can be set up in a variety of ways, our phone and chat lines are open Monday- Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and our website accepts scheduling requests 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All phone lines, chat lines, and online scheduling requests are monitored by live representatives, and all communications typically get a response within one business day.

Skilled in providing patients with a great experience, every time, we take the time to go the extra mile to help ensure as a patient, you have everything you need to get you going on your journey to relief. Proactive communications allow patients to stay knowledgeable about what is going on with their appointment and certification; all appointment links, pertinent reminders, and any outstanding needs are sent routinely via voice call, text, and email to help avoid any appointment delays. Patients are encouraged to keep actively keep track of what is working for them from the dispensary, additionally, patients are always welcome to reach out to us regardless of when their appointment took place.

Medical Marijuana Certification

While medical records are a state requirement you shouldn’t worry if you don’t have them, we can help you obtain what you need! We specialise in helping patients obtain medical records or a diagnosis that will allow them to become a participant in the medical marijuana program. Free of charge, we will call, fax, and email your current medical provider asking for medical records, typically they are provided to the requesting physician (CCC) at no additional cost to the patient. If you do not currently have a medical provider, an appointment with one of our providers can be set up, separately, to obtain the necessary, acceptable, diagnosis for the state. CCC proudly enforces and abides by HIPAA standards and regulations.

For more than four years our team of experts have worked closely with the Department of Health, numerous physicians, and other organisations to promote and educate patients on the benefits and inner workings of the program. As a result of our efforts, we are one of the most recognised certification providers in the state and are highly respected by the Department of Health and agencies alike. It is because of the dedication, commitment, and success in Western Pennsylvania that we are now able to shift our focus to the eastern side of the state.

Our continued goal is to reach as many patients as possible who may benefit from the medical marijuana program. Let our team of experts help you every step of the way. Our expertise is helping patients navigate and understand the role of the Department of Health, including establishing a profile with them and assisting with payment, if applicable, scheduling and conducting certification appointments, obtainment of medical records, and countless other beneficial services and resources.

We offer unbeatable service and a dedicated, friendly team to assist you every step of the way.
